Aleksandar is a brilliant Yugoslavian scientist who dedicates himself to controlling local weather patterns through special atmospheric sensitivity points. His beloved young daughter, Katya, suffers from an illness so debilitating she must receive a kidney transplant from her mother just to stay alive. On top of this, the American-led NATO has begun conducting air strikes on Aleksandar's homeland, whose capital city Belgrade is now the bombardment's primary target.

But first, Aleksandar will need the help of his old friend Reznik to find a supercomputer powerful enough to run the software. Spurred by his love of country, Aleksandar sets off on an international journey to change his homeland's destiny and save his daughter's life.
